Five Zones Campaign: Tyranids vs Walkers

This mission was to decide the last place in the Five Zones campaign.
It was also the first to use the new Tyranid Codex.

Tyranids, for once, brought the right army to face the Walkers. Poor dice from the Walkers made the fight easy for the Nids. However; the tactical objectives worked in the Walkers favour to balance their dice.

Walkers struggled to make an impact at the start and it was Tyranids who claimed first blood. The Tyranid Carifexen proved they are a problem if left unchecked, joining existing assaults to tip the balance of power.

The big mistake came when Tyranids sacrificed their Warlord (Broodlord) for two objective points and a few cosmetic kills, thinking they would only lose one point to Slay the Warlord, but the Walkers had the Kingslayer objective making this worth three points for them.

Final score: Tyranids 8 Walkers 9
Walker's Win.
