Iron Hands v Tyranids
Mission: Purge (Modified KP)
An enjoyable if brief skirmish in which good use of terrain by the bugs helped nullify Iron Hands heavy armour. Quantity vs Quality saw the game start with early Iron Hands gains being clawed back by the mid point.
By the end of turn 3 the scores were 12 to 10 in favour of the Tyranids, but with the Iron Hands being perfectly placed to mop up 3 units. That being the case, and with the shadows lengthening, the hive master decided to concede the field.
Result: Iron Hands victory by concession
