Tournament 2016
All players need to submit a 1,850 point Battle Forged Army.
No Handicap points.
Lords of War limited to 925 points (50% of max).
Each player is to battle every other player using a random mission:
1 Purge the Alien (Modified)
2 The Big Fight
3 No Mans Land
4 Cities of Death
5 Deep Jungle
6 Capture and Control
The winner of the mission scores 2 tournament points, draws 1.
Players may use a character from the character campaign as their warlord.
Changes to the character due to the character campaign are to be used in these missions even though this character has increased in points.

Why no handicap?
ReplyDeleteI presume that the lack of handicap is because we have to have the same army no matter who we are fighting?

Ie No upgrades for the core army.
Ok,how about we go for 50 points handicap per loss starting from 0 but this has to be spent on new units.

I also assume its 1 list pee race (so Gav could have 1 chaos and 1 space marine but not 2 chaos)

DeleteNot sure that will work as you never play the same player twice. Eg It could be that I lose to Martin and gain an extra unit vs Orks.
DeleteBetter to not have any handicap this time and see if the results need a handicap for next time.
Also it is one list only.
So Gav can only play as one fixed army.
A question about Purge the Alien modified. When you say 'primary army' for scoring surviving units do you mean primary detachment? And does this mean that my primary detachment of 3 cult mechanicus severely compromises my chances in this mission? Can it just be any surviving units?
