The clinical Mechanicus army took full advantage of having every element of the battle fall their way. Mission and orientation were both favourable and then when they had been allowed to deploy second, stole initiative. The Skitarii scouts and Knight Errant were able to cover the ground between the armies and with a mixture of heavy fire and haywire were able to take out the Iron Hand heavy armament. As a result, their commander had no option but to retire from the field leaving the Adeptus Mechanicus victorious.
