The High Farseers had foreseen the emergence of the Mon Keigh Lord of war and so Abraxas was given leave to bring her Warlock Council to the skirmish. The Mon Keigh also brought other hardwear to the field and the Eldar responded with no fewer than 22 Bright Lances upon their Walkers and Crimson Hunters.

With the audacious Abraxas leading her Council straight at the Mon Keigh, the Lord of War was forced to abandon its Shield Generators to Eldar bikes. However, so preoccupied were the Bright Lances with their megaton foe, the Mon Keigh were able to take First Blood and make serious inroads into the Eldar Host. But the Eldar reinforcements kept coming and in the end their superior firepower took the day in the ubiquitous close encounter which describes all Mon Keigh/Eldar struggles.
