The Tyranid swarm had returned to Chamos but the defenders were prepared. Ravenwing and the planet Chamos' mightiest war machine a super heavy 'Stormlord' were there to stop the Tyranids.

The Tyranid warlord used his strategic skill to time the battle at night.
This escalated into a full Fog of War battle.

The Tyranids were ready to strike but the Dark Angels seized the moment and the Ravenwing bikers secured a position to eliminate any disadvantage the fog of war may have given them. The Stormlord started up it's mighty Vulcan Megabolter. The forest that the Tyranid Barbed Hierodule was taking cover in took the brunt of the attack and it's return fire was muffled by the Librarians power field generator.
The Tyranid Hive Crones and flying Hive Tyrant took to the skies and started the kill tally with one squad of bikers.

The Crones and Tyrant were not the only flyers in the skys. The Dark Angels were also aided by the PDF Vendetta Gun ship which came on and tore into the Flying Hive Tyrant. The Tyrant was thrown from the skies and the Tyranids had to continue without their Warlord.

The Stormlord, now upto full power, tried again to take down the Barbed Hierodule. Again the shots mainly bounced off the forest and mighty Barbed Hierodule. However; every time some shots were getting through. A Ravenwing squad lead by a librarian joined their firepower and the Barbed Hierodule weekend some more. Pressing their advantage these Ravenwing bikers charged into assault but in a move that turned the tide of the battle, they were overrun by the Hierodule.

The Crones, weeping at the loss of their beloved warlord, sought revenge and use the missile like Bio-Electric Tentaclids. Only through desperate evasion did the Vendetta escape certain death and it limped off the battle field to choose a better time and position to attack. When it did return one of the Crones stuck in its claws and finished the job.

The mighty Barbed Hierodule eventually fell to the firepower of the Stormlord. The Dark Angels then were able to move up and take out many of the smaller Tyranids - Zoanthropes and Venomthrope.

A Tervigon arrived late and started to add more Termagants to the horde, which had surprisingly remained in tack so far. These swarms were too large for the bikers and they managed to finish of the last of the Ravenwing.

Last two Dark Angel units on the battlefield after six rounds were the Warlord and the Lord of War.

Another victory for the Tyranids.
