The opening salvo of the Eldar took out many of the insect race, but so huge was their swarm that it hardly seemed to make a difference. On the belligerent bugs charged, towards their burrowing brethren, with the Eldar mobility once again gliding them out of trouble as their hardware was swept away in the ensuing tempest. The Wraithknights leant a deadly yet important lesson about the effectiveness of the invertebrates' Instant Kill ability.
With the Eldar always keeping just an arm's length from their fearsome foe, they were able to cling onto victory despite the struggle lasting into the 7th turn.
