The Battle for Charadon

Mission: The Crusade (7th Ed Rules)
1,500 point armies, Eldar vs Dark Angels
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil
Hex: Charadon

As ever, the Eldar and the Mon Keigh fought a dogged encounter with both sides dealing and suffering heavy losses. With each force fielding Unbound Armies, the Mon Keigh brought their Super-Heavy to counter the Warlock Council; the Eldar brought their Walkers as nine separate units in an effort to minimise casualties.

The Mon Keigh took early control of the battle, claiming First Blood and limiting the attacking options of the Eldar. But as the Walkers gradually outflanked onto the field, decisive blows were struck against the Super-Heavy. With thoughts only for the Harvest, Abraxas took his council to assault the monstrous tank. The resulting cataclysmic explosion ripped through the bikes, yet Abraxas and four of his Council remained and the tide tuned towards the Eldar.

However, the mobility of the Mon Keigh bikes held winning objectives amidst the carnage, right up until the sixth turn. By then the Eldar had completed the come back..

Final Score: Eldar 8 (Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker, Lord of War 3, Primary Objective 3)
Dark Angels 6 (First Blood, Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker, Primary Objective 3)

For the Harvest!
