Escalation 500: Orks v Iron Hands

The battle was joined with the Orks advancing their Gorkanaut to contest the middle objectives. The Iron Hands made good use of their biker mobility to secure an early lead, but were forced into a tactical retreat by the Gorkanaut, which nearly overwhelmed one Iron Hands squad.
This setback proved merely temporary, however; because the Iron Hands regrouped and sent forth their Chapter Master to tackle the ork walker. Refusing to opt for the easy option of holding the decisive objective and refusing combat, the Master charged the dread machine, and brought it cradhing down.
With that, the battle came to an abrupt end; and the Imprrium claimed another victory.

  1. It's hard to believe but the terrain stopped the orks bringing their superior firepower to bear (limited to 24") allowing the pink skins to get close enough to use their puny weapons
