The Mechanicus brought their War Convocation (modified - each model limited to a single free upgrade).
Some say that the Skitarii element is its weakest component part but it was the Skitari that scored most of the victory points.

Tyranids came with a new Warlord - a Mechanicus official genetically corrupted by the Genestealer programme. This official could provide little sway in the battle by way of body count (one vanguard) but by staying alive, he was able to convert the game from a draw to a win.

Very enjoyable, close fought game.
