The Walkers, anticipating a battle against armour, arrayed for battle sporting lots of las-power and elite assault troops...
The Imperium deployed a Ravenwing Strike Force - highly mobile with lots of Jinkability...
Winning the toss, the Ravenwing swept across the board (using their insanely powerful Strike as One ability). This brought them immediately within range of a significant portion of the Walker force, which was decimated by plasma, melta, missile and bolter fire.
Seeing that they were facing a huge challenge, the Walkers responded by sending in their main assault troops - these succeeded in eliminating an Attack Bike Squad that had seemingly wandered too close...
However, the Assault Bikes had been sent to lure the Walkers into the open; and, with the trap sprung, wholesale carnage ensued.
Although the Walkers hung on bravely, they were never able to get past the Cover Saves of the Ravenwing - who were ultimately able to corner the Walker HQ and eradicate the entire Walker force.
Result: Walkers completely destroyed Turn 4
