Day Fight
The Mighty Eliminators took on the Tyranid Hive Vanguard which had been strengthened by the Miasma Turvigon.
Initially outnumbered, the Tyranids started the battle with a poor turn one. Their warlord, the flying hive tyrant, was brought down to one wound following perils of the warp and some lucky sniper shots. Despite taking most of the shooting during the game, the flyrant was not to loose another wound and the Turvigon never stopped berthing new termagants.
The Eliminators game was marked by a failed Terminator charge, a Librarian who could not hit all game, even when twin-linked and delayed reserve paratroopers.
