Mission: No-mans Land
Armies: Eldar Battlehost, Ork Death Skulls, Imperium Deathwing
Points: 1000 + 500 + Handicaps
Three very different armies took to the field with the Imperium Knight attracting much of the early attention. The Ork Lootas did plenty of damage, so the Imperium Terminators deep struck to take them on but were slowed by the Ork bikes and Kopters. The Eldar spread their plentiful and more mobile units around the objectives slowly accumulating VPs and by the time the Knight had fallen and the remains of the Terminators had made it through the bikes, the Eldar position has unsurpassable and the contest was called early.
For the Harvest!
Did the Eldar Warlord survive ?
ReplyDeleteWhat was their Warlord trait ?
- They keep this and gain a new one next battle.
Naah, da boyz won cos we smashed da biggest pinkie skin fing, and it took loadz of da runnaway brigade wiv it when it went booom! Da runnaway brigade hide un only came out once da fight woz dun so day must be da losers - where'z da fun in dat? But we had a good time un no one we really liked got killed so who'z next?
ReplyDeleteAbraxas survived with Fate's Messenger. Not sure about keeping Psychic powers though. Surely they need re-rolling each battle? Or perhaps have the choice to keep them and re-roll any you want to change?
ReplyDeleteDespite ourselves, we do have a special place in our hearts for the Rottweiler puppies that are the Orkz. Fun and bouncy until you get up close and then they have your hand off!
Cry havoc and let slip the pups of Waaagh!
