Armies: Chaos Marines vs Tyranids (+100)

The Marines brought a psychic heavy army with a flying demon prince and two flaming heldrake flyers.
Tyranids brought no psykers and no flyers but did have bodies without number.
Seizing the initiative, the marines brought the pain. The Heldrakes and the tanks firing upon the lead Malenthrope, wounding but not killing it. The demon prince summoned some pink horror daemon gribbles which the lead Malenthrope charged and finished off as first blood. This left the malenthrope in the open so he consolidated into cover toward the Warlord Ahriman and his unit of thousand sons. Ahriman advanced toward the manenthrope and when shooting proved ineffective, charged. The malenthrope and Warlord Ahriman killed each other in a challenge before the marines could react.
The Tyranid Warlord was a cunning Warrior Prime who lead from the back. Using his Strategic Genius to great advantage. He took no wounds thanks to a couple of sacrificing gaunts who threw themselves into the path Heldrake flamers.
Tyranids gain their first victory over the Chaos Marines.
