The Eldar committed it's force to the very edge of deployment and suffered greatly when the Orkz stole initiative, losing First Blood under a hail of heavy Gorkanaut and Loota fire. The Eldar re-grouped deep inside their ground and relinquished The Relic, slowly picking off the Ork bikes while the Seer Council made headway up the right flank.

The Orks chose to hold their ground protecting The Relic, inviting the Eldar back into the middle ground. This time, with the aid of air-support, the Gorkanauts where taken out by Wraithguards and Seer Council and the Ork back line became vulnerable.

The available Eldar units gambled on removing The Relic from Ork possession and though they could not claim it themselves, did enough to deny the Orkz when the battle drew to an early close.

The Farseers of the War Council had once again chosen the most advantageous strand of time, though were saddened by the sacrifice of so many Eldar to make it so.
