Orask - Lovely War III

Points: 2,500 Orcs (+50) vs Tyranids (+175)
Mission: The Spoils of War
Deployment: Dawn of War, The Long Night, Ork Special*
Planet: Orask

Groft convinces Gutrakka to go for a full scale assault using the teleporta. All ork units, including heavies, deploy using the drop pod scatter rules; the teleporta has 4 charges per round (but heavies count as 2) thus reducing the amount of units which can be deployed each round (similar to reserves but without rolling).

The final battle in the Lovely War trilogy.
Gutrakka discovers that coming in by teleporta groups units, even units of 20 boys, in an area a large blast can completely cover. He also discovered that Tyranids have enough large blasts for four units per turn when there is nothing else to shoot at. Bit messy.
Gutrakka also discovered the large Carnifex fist beloning to Old One Eye.
He did not discover any more after that.

Tyranid Win.
Tyranids 11 (9 Objectives, Slay the Warlord, First Blood)
Orks 8 (6 Objectives, Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker)

Groft : "I only said I'd get 'im there..."

  1. Following Gutrakka's little 'accident' wiv de Nids, a new power has emerged amongst the ork leadership; Da Beast of Danubis. Groft has quickly allied himself wiv da new Warlord but, as his name suggests, Da Beast is from the 'brutal but cunning' school of thought and is not convinced that all problems can't be solved by a big chopper!

    1. Now that it is Orktober, the cunning but brutal Doc Hammer Hands feels it is time to move in on Da Beast's territory. His war band is ready to take on the Tyranids to show who the bigger Ork is.

Not all problems can be solved wiv a big chopper
but they can all be solved wiv a big hammer.
