1750 Imperium (AM) vs Drukari
Belated news arrives of an encounter on the far edge of the galaxy. The glorious survivors of Cadia encountered a depraved xenos armada hell bent on [r e d a c t e d].
Seizing the initiative, Lord Commander Pask and his lieutenants bracketed the xemos fleet with a withering barrage, scuttling three before they could respond. Enraged, the remaining aliens swarmed forward, aided by allies that seemingly appeared from nowhere. Their ferocious assault brought down two gunships of the Imperial Navy, leaving the guardsmen embarked therein in real jeopardy. Bravely, they maintained their discipline and avenged their fallen comrades.
Imperial steel and weight of fire rapidly decided the encounter. After three turns, the xemos commander decided to retire. Her cohorts could not join her, however... for they had all succumbed to the Emperor's justice.
