Grey Knights vs Tyranids

Grey Knights, choosing to go second, mounted up the points but could not kill the Tyranids. The Tyranids, on the other hand, had no problem whittling down the Grey Knights but could not score enough points. By turn two the Tyranids had not scored as much as the Grey Knights had on turn one alone but their Warlord Hive Tyrant had survived a combat with the Grey Knight Warlord Dreadknight and both Grey Knight Dreadknight captains were degraded.

The trend continued until turn four, when the Tyranids scored 10 points!, more than doubling their total but still not beating the Grey Knights. In turn five, with very few Grey Knights left, a Tyranid Mawloc claimed an objective worth three points, pushing the Tyrainds into a two point lead (23v21). We will never know if the last Grey Knights could have scored in turn five as they succumbed to fear, failed Moral and fled the battle.
