Walkers won the roll off and decided to go second.
Under the cover of night the Tyranids pushed forwards but the walkers counter pushed, slipping past the Tyranids and grabbing the unguarded objectives for an instant win.
The New Tyranid codex is good but if you don't read the mission, you aren't going to win.
