The Electro Priests are often regarded as the worst of the Cult Mechanicus forces. It is easy to point out their faults on paper but when it came to it, one on one, against the Genestealer Cult they proved their worth. Unfortunately for the Priests, they were not one on one but horribly outnumbered and it proved all too much for them.
In general the EPriests did prove quite hard to kill but one was lost to random fire running across the battle field before he could get into range and another was lost in a lucky over watch shot. The remaining three, with long range fire support from two Kataphrons, were able to kill 12 of the 24 Genestealer Cult, enough to force some of the Cult to break and flee the battle.
However; the battle ended in turn five with the Genestealer Cult holding enough objectives to win the battle.
