The Genestealers took the attack to the Mechanicus and looked to have taken the day with their tunnelling and shifting on and off the board to great effect.

But stout defence and careful manouvering allowed the Mechanicus to stay in the game. A crucial Genestealers' assault against the Destroyers with their cognis flamers proved to be the pivotal encounter and the Adeptus Mechanicus were able to take the day and top the table.
