Fearing the worst, the Mechanicus army deployed first, split its forces and feared the worst! The Imperium lived up to their billing and deep-struck right into the fray, almost wiping out the Breachers. In doing so, however, they left themselves exposed to the newly arrived Destroyers with their feared Grav-weapons.

Although their first salvo was disappointing, subsequent rounds were much more successful and the Imperium force was slowly whittled away.

When the Drop Pod finally fell, the Mechanicus victory was complete.
