Battle for Mandragora

Armies: Harlequins v Tyranids
Points: 1500
Mission: The Emperor's Will
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil

The bold first turn offensive from the Harlequins was rewarded with decisive inroads into the tyranid ranks as their usual mix of armour and cover saves proved to be strangely unreliable.

The tyranids fought back against the frail Harlequins, but the damage had already been done in that first round and the last desperate units of tyranids were wiped out.

Final Score: Harlequins 6 (Primary Objective, Slay the Warlord, First Blood, Line Breaker) tyranids 1 (Slay the warlord)

  1. Tyranids said the Starweaver can move 12" and then you can disembark - for a first turn charge. I do not remember reading this rule (but I do not have the codex to hand).

  2. No, 6" move for Starweaver, 6" disembark, d6" fleet run, 2d6" fleet charge. That's a lot of "es!

    1. Oh Well, don't feel too bad, the game is setup to restrict 1st turn charges.
