Proposed New Rule - Fighter Ace

In the GW book: Shield of Baal - Leviathan
there are new rules for Fighter Aces which I have summarized for review.

Any objections to them being introduced ?
Any changes you wish to make ?




Fighter Ace

A flyer or flying monstrous creature may become a Fighter Ace. If they kill five or more flyers or flying monstrous creatures without being killed themselves they become a Fight Ace. This tally is accumulative across missions (except friendlies) so keep a record in the Mission report on the Blog.

Or for 35 Points a flyer or flying monstrous creature may buy the Fight Ace upgrade.

Fight Aces may roll on one of the following tables
(at the same time as Warlord Traits are generated)

Astra Militarum

Covert Deployment
Can come on from any table edge when arriving from reserve.
3-4
Defensive Flyer
+1 Front Armour
5-6
Inspiring Presence
Friendly units within 12” have the Fearless special rule.

Choas Space Marines
1-2
Arcane Targeting System
+1 BS

Terror of the Skys
Re-roll failed To Wound and Armour Oenatrations when making a Vector Strike
5-6
Lord of Chaos
Friendly units within 12” have the Relentless special rule.

Eldar
1-2
Dance of the Dawn
+1 BS

Dance of the Dusk
Can pivot 180 at the start of movement

Symbol of Khaine
Friendly units within 12” have the Hatred special rule.

Dark Angels

Hunter of Heretics

Expert Redeployment
Can come on from any table edge when arriving from on-going reserves.

Homing Beacon
Friendly units deepstriking within 12” do not scatter.

Orks

Friendly units within 12” have the Feel No Pain (6+) special rule.

Tyranids

Auto-passes Instinctive behaviour tests or adds 3” to synapse.

Sudden Escape
If within 12” of table edge in a shooting phase it can enter on-going reserves if no shots have been fired.
