It must have been the ancient but unknown power signature which drew them to the unexplored moon. The croozer 'Bludfurst' dropped warboss Gharnof and his boyz near the crumbling structure only to discover that bugz, pink skinz and da run away brigade were also snooping around. They got down to buizness straight away, Gharnof and da hard boyz laughed off some Eldar pot shots while they charged the ancient relic and the rest went for the nids who all decided to hide rather than having a good honest blood bath. The Dark Angels stomped in from the other side and decided that bugz also looked like a good target. The Eldar continued to skulk around until the Kopta's popped in from behind and blew up der pretty green tank - not their best decision coz da run away brigade didn't and da boyz got roasted. This seemed to wake up the Eldar and they charged straight into hand to hand wiv the Terminator's who just dropped into the ruins - their turn to make a mistake! The Dark Angels chewed 'em up, killed the Eldar boss an' the rest went back to hiddin' and skulkin'. Fings were now looking nice and messy down at the nid zone; bitz of carapace, meganobz, an' bikes lyin' all over da place but unfortunately the last ones standin' was da nids, that is until da pink skins noticed and blew the crap out of the last remaining big nids (renderin' the rest impotent).
By this time Gharnof and the 'ard boyz were toe to toe on
da bridge wiv the Terminators ('You shall not pass!') wiv da relic in der hands
- dead killi, perfect way to spend the day!
Orkz - 5 points (Lord of War, Relic)
Dark Angels - 4 points (Slay the warlord x 2, Lord of
War, First Blood) Eldar/Tyranids, might hav' scored but nobody noticed.
